Regeneration Health operates in full alignment with the laws and professional standards governing Registered Nurses in the State of Colorado. All services provided are designed to comply with the Colorado Nurse Practice Act and applicable regulations.
Nursing practice in Colorado is governed by the:
Colorado Nurse Practice Act (Colorado Revised Statutes 2025; TITLE 12; PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS; ARTICLE 255:)
These statutes define the legal scope of practice for Registered Nurses (RNs) and establish the framework for safe, ethical, and professional nursing care.
RN Scope of Practice in Colorado
Under Colorado law, Registered Nurses are authorized to provide:
Health education and counseling
Care coordination and nurse navigation
Assessment and monitoring
Patient advocacy
Support for self-management of health conditions
Wellness and prevention education
Implementation of care plans ordered by licensed providers
Colorado recognizes professional nursing as including the “assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.”
All services offered through Regeneration Health fall within this legally defined scope.
Services Within Legal RN Scope
Regeneration Health provides the following services within Colorado RN scope-of-practice guidelines:
1. Health Education & Empowerment
✔ Chronic disease education
✔ Stress management education
✔ Lifestyle counseling
✔ Preventive health education
✔ Understanding lab results (educational explanation only)
✔ Medication education (not prescribing or adjusting)
These services are educational and supportive in nature and do not constitute medical diagnosis or medical treatment.
2. Nurse Navigation & Care Coordination
✔ Assistance preparing for medical appointments
✔ Insurance and benefit navigation education
✔ Care plan clarification
✔ Hospital discharge education
✔ Support with understanding provider recommendations
These services support informed decision-making and patient advocacy.
3. Nutritional Guidance
Provided within RN educational scope:
✔ General nutrition education
✔ Meal planning guidance
✔ Liquid nutrition education
✔ Weight management education
✔ Performance fueling guidance
✔ Lifestyle-based nutrition strategies
Regeneration Health does not provide medical nutrition therapy unless separately credentialed and does not replace physician or registered dietitian treatment for complex medical conditions.
4. Athletic & Performance Guidance
✔ Recovery optimization education
✔ Hydration strategies
✔ Mobility and injury-prevention education
✔ Lifestyle and performance coaching
✔ General fitness guidance
These services are educational and wellness-based. They do not replace evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a physician, physical therapist, or licensed athletic trainer when medically indicated.
Services Not Provided
To remain fully compliant with Colorado law, Regeneration Health does not:
✖ Diagnose medical conditions
✖ Prescribe medications
✖ Perform invasive procedures
✖ Replace primary care providers
✖ Provide emergency medical services
✖ Provide psychotherapy or licensed mental health therapy
Clients are encouraged to maintain ongoing relationships with their primary care provider and licensed specialists.

When services are delivered virtually, they comply with Colorado telehealth standards as defined by the:
