HIPAA Compliance & Secure Data Storage

Effective Date: February 16, 2026

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Security Safeguards We Use

To help protect your information, we use safeguards such as:

  • Access controls (limiting access to authorized personnel only)

  • Secure authentication and account protections

  • Encryption in transit and at rest where supported by the platform and configuration

  • Role-based permissions to minimize unnecessary access

  • Ongoing monitoring and risk review to support secure operations

  • Data minimization (we collect and retain only what we need)

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take meaningful steps to reduce risk and protect your information.

What Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact information (such as name, email, phone number)

  • Scheduling or service-related information

  • Basic website usage information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited)

How We Use Your Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide and improve services

  • Communicate with you about scheduling, services, and support

  • Maintain required documentation (when applicable)

  • Meet legal, regulatory, and operational requirements

  • Support billing/administrative processes (if applicable)

HIPAA Compliance & PHI Storage

We do not collect, store, or maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Please Note:

  • We do not maintain medical records.

  • We do not store diagnoses, treatment plans, medication lists, or clinical documentation.

  • We do not retain personal health history in electronic or paper files

  • Clients are responsible for maintaining their own health records and documentation.

If you choose to share personal health information during a consultation, it is used only for the purpose of that session and is not retained or stored afterward.

Because we do not store or manage PHI, this service does not function as a HIPAA-covered entity medical practice, and no ongoing medical record is created.

We encourage all clients to:

  • Maintain copies of their medical records.

  • Keep personal documentation of medications, test results, and provider visits.

  • Share relevant records directly with their licensed healthcare providers as needed.

Our goal is to empower you with knowledge and clarity — while keeping your personal health information in your control.

If you have any questions about privacy or documentation practices, please feel free to ask.
